The “Roner” Lodge on the Rodenegger Alm is set amidst a beautiful natural setting, 1.832 meters above sea level. It is owned by the Widmann family since 1952. The hut is a popular destination for extended and small tours, on foot or by mountain bike. The footpath from the parking lot “Zumis” to the “Roner” Lodge is perfect also for families with children.
We spent the night at the “Roner” Lodge during our annual “Dolomite Crossing” (middle of june).
The “Rossalm” Lodge on Mount Plose offers a magnificent view from the sun terrace with adventure playground. The “Rossalm” is easily accessible (from Kreuztal approx. 45 min.). It is an ideal starting point for numerous hiking and biking tours all year round.
The “Schatzer” Lodge is quite close to Bressanone, on the southern slope of Mount Gabler, 2004 meters above sea level. From the parking lot of the “Skihütte” Lodge it is easily reachable over a wide path and therefore a popular destination for young and old. This walk is effortlessly accessible also for pushchairs. The “Schatzer” Lodge is embedded in the fantastic scenery of the Aferer Geisler and Peitler Kofel mountains, the north-western peaks of the Dolomites.
The magnificent “Geisleralm” Lodge (2,000 meters) can be reached from Bressanone through the Villnöss Valley; first drive 8 km to the south, then right into valley (Funes-Teis), 14 km to St. Magdalena, then continue right to the parking “Ranui” (free of charge); straight on towards Zans, then from the turnoff to the parking lot “Zanseralm” (fees apply in high season). From there you hike about 1.5 to 2 hours to the “Geisleralm” Lodge.
